Gaborone, 09 Thursday 2022 –, Absa Bank Botswana has entered a strategic partnership with PAYM8 – a Payment Service Provider (PSP) and Fintech specializing in Financial Collections, Online and Mobile Payment. The partnership was signed on the 09 June 2022 in Gaborone Botswana by the Absa Bank Botswana Acting Managing Director Mr. Krishnan Menon and Managing Director Mr. Andrew Springate PAYM8.
It is expected that the partnership will enhance the digital collections capability of its Merchant Clients and be able to process Real Time Payments and Collections from any Visa or MasterCard Customer. The service will be availed for both Retail and Business Customers across Botswana.
Through the Card Acquiring division, Absa strives to innovate/ introduce new technologies and build a robust Payments and Collections Digital Ecosystem to provide convenience to its merchants and customers.
