Registered Mandate (RM) have replaced the older Registered Mandate Service (RMS) as the industry standard for unauthenticated mandates. RM allows a mandate to be formally registered with the customer’s bank even if the DebiCheck request was not confirmed by the account holder. This provides merchants with a compliant way to continue with collections, while ensuring that both the bank and the customer are aware of the registered instruction.

With PAYM8, you can seamlessly convert unauthenticated or expired DebiCheck mandates into Registered Mandates (RM). This helps you maintain collection continuity, while still operating within the correct industry framework. Please note that RM collections are processed in a different window from authenticated DebiCheck transactions and remain subject to customer dispute rules.
